Hey! You are probably reading this to understand the resources system on StudyHaven so this post should cover some rules on what you should post, what you shouldn't post and what you could include in your post.
This resources system works like a typical forum that you would use. An example is Discourse.
Rules for posting
-
Relevance
- Ensure that the resources directly relate to the subject matter you're covering.
- Avoid posting irrelevant or off-topic materials.
-
Quality
- Prioritize resources that are accurate, reliable, and well-structured.
- Check for any errors or outdated information.
-
Copyright
- Respect copyright laws. Only share resources that you have the right to distribute or that are in the public domain.
- If you're unsure about copyright, seek permission from the original creator.
-
Attribution
- Give credit to the original creator or source of the resource.
- This includes providing links to the original website or publication.
-
User Experience
- Organize resources in a clear and logical manner.
- Use appropriate tags or categories to help users find the information they need.
-
Common Sense
- Use your best judgment when selecting and sharing resources.
- Avoid posting anything that could be harmful, offensive, or inappropriate.
If you break any of these rules, you may be punished. Punishments include being banned from using the Resources system entirely.
StudyHaven uses MarkDown and Latex for its posts. If you need a guide for markdown, you can find the link at the end. You are also allowed to use HTML in posts. If you need to style this HTML, you can use the default classes available from DaisyUI (linked at the end) or custom CSS Styles.
